Memorial Day at the Splash Park

So much fun yesterday! I don't know about the rest of you, but I thought that Splash park outing was a big success. Yay and thanks to Julianne for setting it up!

My kids really enjoyed seeing their "other" cousins. And it was completely worth the three hour round trip drive to see Jonathon mistake my son for his brother. There was one moment he turned to Leemur and said, "Hey, you're not Wilford!"

And for anyone who didn't hear the story, after the Baby shower for Diane where my daughter met Liz's daughter for the first time, the cutest thing happened. My girl - Rivulet - was given a baby boy doll and a baby girl doll. The baby boy doll she named Sammy. The baby girl doll she named LuLu. When I asked her where she got the name, she just said, "It's like my cousin."

Long story short, it was loads of fun to see everyone. And if Aunt LuLu would like to write down the ingredients for her potato salad here, I would be grateful! Um, and would Bethany please pass on her recipe for Fruit Pizza? My belly is rumbling just thinking about those two tasty treats. Mmmmm.

The first post

This blog is set up to be a resource guide for the Meyers children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. By resource, we mean a place to display what is going on in our families, a place to share a new recepie, a place to share prices on good Food Storage or Prepardness items. We live far apart, but we can remain close despite the miles. Advice, thoughts, humor and wisdom coupled with pictures of family and growth is welcome. My first question is this: How many children does everyone have and what are their names?
Husband: Caleb.
Son: Liam Robert, 5 yrs
Daughter: River Grace, 2 yrs
I've got the ball rolling. Who is next?
